Our Story

Electronic Services was founded by Larry Barnette with his wife Sarah Barnette by his side. The couple built ESI while working long hours at the jobs they carried along with building ESI in the garage of their home. Thanks to many dedicated employees over the years who helped the company climb the ladder of a small company underdog to a successful go to for generator specialties. We have been in business for over 35 years and are still going strong. Larry built this company from his bare hands while remaining humble and always referring back to the early days when it was just him building boards in his dimly lit garage. Larry was truly good man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it and made sure he had that same mindset with his customers to always go above and beyond for anything they needed. After we lost Larry, His wife Sarah took the reins and has kept the company going in honor of her late husband. His son, David Barnette has gained a great wealth of knowledge passed down from his father and has continued this great legacy and is making sure GENPOWERCONTROLSTM units are still being produced the same way Larry would. Larry’s granddaughter Samantha Sindle assists in the front handling communications,sales and any other requests customers may need. We appreciate and will always be grateful for our customers, vendors, and friends we have earned over the years.
